Judith Kampfner, Steve Bond (co-producers) and Anita Sullivan (adaptor) won 3 awards at the New York Festivals for their hour-long audio drama Shadowbahn based on Steve Erickson's dystopian novel about the near future. Shadowbahn garnered Gold for Best Drama, Gold for Best Sound and Silver for Best Director. The play went out in the Dangerous Visions series on BBC Radio 4.
Also at the New York Festivals, Kampfner won a Silver for Best Music Special and a Silver for Best Biographical Documentary for Walking The Wild Mind, a documentary about Lou Reed presented by Suzanne Vega and made for BBC Radio 4.
Speaking in the show are: photographer Mick Rock, poet Anne Waldman, Sylvia Morales Reed, biographer Anthony De Curtis, music entrepreneur Michael Dorf, musician Garland Jeffreys and Jonathan Hiam of the New York Public Library for Performing Arts.
